- How long have you been working at Ecrimesa Group?
I have been working at Ecrimesa Group for 8 years now! I started at Ecrimesa in May 2014. - What tasks have you performed there?
I am a Process Engineer for MIM, metal injection molding. My main tasks are the industrialization of references, production management, cost reduction and rejection, methods improvement, etc. - How have you seen the evolution of the company since your incorporation?
Since the beginning, the growth of the company has been constant. In these 8 years we have doubled our production capacity. When customers continue to trust us for their new projects, it’s a good sign! - How do you tell or would you tell your children what you do?
I would tell them that we manufacture metal parts that they can find anywhere, but in a very peculiar way that practically nobody knows about, we do magic with metals, like the ancient alchemists, but with robots.
We make parts that, although invisible to your eyes, make the world work: an engine, a crane or even an airplane! - How do you value your work experience at Ecrimesa?
We are lucky to be very diversified in countries, sectors and customers, and this diversity is very enriching from a professional point of view. There are colleagues with a lot of experience and we make a good team. - What recommendation would you give to the new generations that are currently joining the company?
I would say to the new generations that it is important to have the ability to adapt to change. The industry and society in general is constantly evolving and it is necessary to adapt. - What company would you like to work for, if only out of curiosity?
Two of my hobbies are sports and traveling, so I would like to know companies related to professional sports or travel. - If time gates existed, to what era of the past would you like to travel?
Although it must have been a very hard time, I would have liked to see the Middle Ages.
The Roman Empire must also have been very interesting, it was a very advanced society for its time. - Tell us an amusing anecdote related to your work.
The best are the moments when we laugh as a group, for anything minor, we have a good time. I am lucky to have good colleagues. As an anecdote to remember, although not funny, was when in the worst of the pandemic we had a safe-conduct to be able to go to work in case we were stopped by the police, with the streets deserted. It was something I never thought I would experience, reality surpassed fiction. - Recommend us a movie, a series, a song and a book.
Movie: Enemy at the Gates.
Series: Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones.
Songs: Viva la Vida, by Coldplay and Primavera del 87, by La fuga, for its meaning.
Book: City of Thieves, by David Benioff. Set during the siege of Leningrad, I liked it a lot. - That country or city you can’t wait to see.
The list is endless, I love to travel and there is an important diversity in my list of destinations: I would like to know Australia, Japan, the African savannah, Peru and more, many more.
