Today we talk with Daniele Solero, originally from Italy, who has been part of Ecrimesa Group since 1990. With over 35 years of experience, his career is closely tied to the international expansion and evolution of the company.
“When I joined Ecrimesa,” he recalls, “the company was smaller than it is today, and we only had one technology: investment casting. It was the foundation of everything, and even today it continues to be a very important part of our production.”
In those early days, the company had no customers in the Italian market. The task was clear but challenging: start from zero. “We began by contacting potential clients and trying to build something. It was a new beginning, and the Italian market was very interesting for Ecrimesa.”
Years of consistent effort and resilience led to real results. “Today, we have a significant market in Italy, good turnover, and many customers. We can now promote Ecrimesa’s name across Italy with confidence.”
Alongside market growth, the company’s technological capabilities also evolved. “In the last decades, we introduced Metal Injection Molding (MIM), and we also began working with Investment Casting. We’ve grown, and today we have far more possibilities than we had before.”
There was one message that proved especially important during the most challenging periods: “We have to be resilient. We have to make a big effort to achieve our goals.”
“That is the best advice I ever received. I followed it. And today, we are where we are, maybe thanks to this advice.”
Danielle embraced this mindset throughout his career. Although some periods were more critical than others, as business naturally has its ups and downs, sticking to that approach made a difference. Looking back, there’s a sense of achievement: the effort paid off.
Reflecting on the early days, he adds: “The experience was unique. It can’t be repeated today, because the market and the economy are completely different now.”
